Chris Paul Injury Update

chrispaultag

Chris Paul is possibly going to play 11/16 vs the Suns. If not the 16th he might make an appearance vs the Grizzlies. He’s going to go through intense workouts today and tomorrow to see if his knee can handle it. Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said “We don’t want to push it.”

1994-1995 Championship Team

1994-95-houston-rockets-nba-champions

Here we have the 1994-1995 Rockets who swept the Orlando Magic 4-0 in the NBA finals. They had superstars such as Kenny “the jet” Smith, Hakeem “the dream” Olajuwon, Clyde “the glide” Drexler, Sam Cassell, and Vernon Maxwell. This team had an alright season going 47-35.  They were the first team to win a NBA championship as the 6th seed in their division.

Chris Paul Trade

Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets this offseason. He was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers for Patrick Beverly, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker, Montrezl  Harrell, Kyle Wiltjer, protected first-round pick next year and cash considerations. This was the second blockbuster trade this year. Jimmy Butler being traded to the Timberwolves was the first.
