We know James Harden to be one of the best offensive players in the league but as you can see he is not the best defender. To be fair this was last season and Harden has somewhat improved his defense. A popular argument Rockets fan use to defend James Harden is that Harden does so much offensively and he plays a lot of minutes.
James Harden and Chris Paul faced off against one of the most talked about rookies in the league yesterday, Lonzo Ball. James Harden scored 36 points with 9 assists, while Chris Paul had 21 points with 6 assists. Unfortunately the overhyped rookie was only able to accumulate 2 points with 3 assists. The Rockets currently have the second longest win streak in the league with 7 wins ( Cavs have the longest with 11 straight wins).
James Harden goes off once again, He has been playing incredibly well lately and he seems happy to have Chris Paul back saying “I’m happy to have the little midget back”. Although Chris Paul didn’t score much, he still helped out his team by accumulating 10 assists. James Harden is currently ranked #1 in the race for MVP. The Toronto Raptors now 8-5 beat the 11-3 Rockets. The Raptors ended Houston’s 6 game win streak. The Raptors top scorer was DeMar DeRozan dropping 27 points in 34 minutes. Rockets shooting guard James Harden tried his best to get the win but his 38 points was just not enough.
Last Sunday James Harden scored his career high 56 points against the Utah Jazz. He had a spectacular night shooting the ball. He shot 76% from the field and managed to go 7-8 on the threes. He made 7 threes in a row! Harden was also able to accumulate a couple of assists, he finished with 13. They were also able to come out with the win beating the Jazz 137-110.
