The Rockets faced off vs the Pacers yesterday night. The Indiana Pacers (6-8) ended up losing to the Rockets 118-95. The Rockets leading scorer was James Harden with 26 point. He also leaded the game in assists managing to get 15. Victor Oladipo was the Pacers leading scorer with 28 points. Both former OKC players.

1994-1995 Championship Team

Here we have the 1994-1995 Rockets who swept the Orlando Magic 4-0 in the NBA finals. They had superstars such as Kenny “the jet” Smith, Hakeem “the dream” Olajuwon, Clyde “the glide” Drexler, Sam Cassell, and Vernon Maxwell. This team had an alright season going 47-35.  They were the first team to win a NBA championship as the 6th seed in their division.

 

James Harden Drops 56 Points!

Last Sunday James Harden scored his career high 56 points against the Utah Jazz. He had a spectacular night shooting the ball. He shot 76% from the field and managed to go 7-8 on the threes. He made 7 threes in a row! Harden was also able to accumulate a couple of assists, he finished with 13. They were also able to come out with the win beating the Jazz 137-110.

Chris Paul Trade

Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets this offseason. He was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers for Patrick Beverly, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker, Montrezl  Harrell, Kyle Wiltjer, protected first-round pick next year and cash considerations. This was the second blockbuster trade this year. Jimmy Butler being traded to the Timberwolves was the first.

Cavs vs Rockets

The Cavaliers and the Rockets are facing off today. James Harden is coming off his 56 point game and fans are eager to see what he will follow it up with. Both Lebron James and James Harden are missing their all star point guards, if the Cavs want to get this win Lebron is going to have to bring his A game. Cavaliers record: 5-6, Rockets record: 8-3.
