James Harden Goes Off… again

James Harden goes off once again, He has been playing incredibly well lately and he seems happy to have Chris Paul back saying “I’m happy to have the little midget back”. Although Chris Paul didn’t score much, he still helped out his team by accumulating 10 assists. James Harden is currently ranked #1 in the race for MVP. Here are his stats: 30.7 points, 10.3 assists, 4.9 rebounds.

The Streak Ends

The Toronto Raptors now 8-5 beat the 11-3 Rockets. The Raptors ended Houston’s 6 game win streak. The Raptors top scorer was DeMar DeRozan dropping 27 points in 34 minutes. Rockets shooting guard James Harden tried his best to get the win but his 38 points was just not enough.

The Rockets will be facing off against the Toronto Raptors today. Rockets have home court advantage, playing at Toyota Center. The talented Kyle Lowry and Demar Derozan duo will be facing the 3 point shooting Rockets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were unable to work out an extension for James Harden so they traded him to Houston. Oklahoma sent Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook, and Lazar Hayward along with Harden. In return they received Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, two first-round picks, and a second-round pick. This trade changed both the Rockets and Harden drastically, Harden was finally a team leader and the Rockets were a better team with Harden finally making a playoffs appearance.

 

James Harden Drops 56 Points!

Last Sunday James Harden scored his career high 56 points against the Utah Jazz. He had a spectacular night shooting the ball. He shot 76% from the field and managed to go 7-8 on the threes. He made 7 threes in a row! Harden was also able to accumulate a couple of assists, he finished with 13. They were also able to come out with the win beating the Jazz 137-110.
